Ak radi sledujete módne trendy a zároveň dbáte aj na životné prostredie, potom holandská firma Mercer Amsterdam vyrobila tento model tenisiek presne pre vás. 

Hoci spoločnosť píše, že ide o tenisky vyrobené z ananásu, v skutočnosti sú vyrobené z listov týchto plodov. Nie zo samotnej sladkej dužiny, ako by ste si na prvé prečítanie mohli myslieť. Konkrétne z Piñatexu, ktorý módny priemysel označuje ako alternatívu kože. Piñatex sa vyrába z vláken listov ananásov, ktoré vznikajú ako odpadový materiál pri zbere tohto ovocia.

Jediné, čo môže zákazníka odradiť, je ich cena. Tá je síce momentálne dosť vysoká, no spoločnosť nevylučuje, že sa časom nezníži (predsa len, zatiaľ ide o novinku). V súčasnosti sa cena jedného páru tenisiek pohybuje okolo 250 eur (v cene je zahrnuté aj poštovné do celého sveta).

Oficiálny predaj sa ešte nezačal, no tenisky si môžete objednať už teraz online na stránke firmy. Na ich doručenie si však budete musieť ešte istý čas počkať. Rozposielať ich začnú až koncom apríla.
